Content and physical description
ContentAgni Rusopulu, representing Nikos Kazantzakis in Greece, was asked by NK to collect Greek folk songs and dances for the needs of Bohuslav Martinů's new opera [Greek PASSIONS]. AR therefore sent 32 pieces arranged for piano, selected by Fivo Anojanakis, musical director of the Dora Stratou Greek Folk Songs and Dances Ensemble. It was also pointed out by Mr. FA that there is a bias in the feel of the music from the musical notation, so he recommends listening to the recordings of the Dory Stratou ensemble from Vogue-Production in Paris. FA is available to BM for any additional information. AR therefore provides the FA's address. There is a list of sent tracks.
