Content and physical description
ContentRobert Vannoy hadn't heard from Miloš Šafránek for a long time. He often thinks of him.
RV was eligible for a home loan as a WWII veteran, so he bought a new house about 5 miles south of Medford. It's nice that he owns the house and doesn't have to pay rent.
One of his first joys after moving was the recording of SYMPHONY No. 2 that he received. However, RV has misgivings about Václav Neumann's performance of SYMPHONY No. 6 - it seems too loose compared to the more dynamic versions by Karl Ančerl and Charles Munch (on RCA Victor, with the Boston Symphony Orchestra).
How does it look with MŠ's memoirs? RV can't wait to read them.
