Content and physical description

Content	Charlotta Martinů is saddened by the death of her sister Karel Šebánek. If KS needs money, he can contact [Zdeněk] Pechold, who will send him CZK 3000 on her behalf. She would like to know how much money she has left, as she would like to buy a bust of Bohuslav Martinů. She would also be interested in the price of this bust. The Czech trio is leaving for Portugal and its members could take this bust with them as they will also be stopping in Paris. [Jaroslav] Mihule informed ChM about the performance of ŠPALÍČK in Brno. ChM asked why KS had not contacted JM to sort out matters with Panton and to give ChM authorization for the premiere of the CONCERT FOR VIOLINS AND ORCHESTRA No. 1 to be performed on 25 October. ChM is invited to this world premiere but will probably not be able to attend. She would, however, be happy to attend the European performance by the Czech Philharmonic. It would also be good if KS would contact [Jaroslav] Seda regarding the contract for the manuscript of the concerto. ChM has already written to the attorneys in Zurich who will contact JS and also [Don L.] Roberts.
