ContentCharlotte Martinů apologizes to Karel Šebánek for the late reply, which was caused by the flu. She is happy about the good news about the GREEK PASSIONS. Dr. Hradsky [presumably Emil Hradecky] sent his wishes [for the New Year] to ChM, but she was unable to answer him because of her illness, as she is very late with her correspondence. She wishes KS to inform Frank Rybka regarding the transfer of items from the US Embassy in Prague. ChM would like to place the bust of Bohuslav Martinů in the museum in Prague [National?] He also asks to inform FR that money has been sent - after numerous complications - to a gentleman from Brno. He asks that KS also pass on the news to Anna Špačková, who will write later. ChM also wonders how [Jiri] Macek is and whether KS has his address as well as that of Ivan Straus. He also asks if the transfer from Schott Music GmbH & Co. to Henrietta Mirvis for the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA has been sent. ChM has no information from the Eschig publishers. FR may keep the manuscripts with him or forward them to Anna Maria Wurm. ChM would like to go to Nice, probably won't get to Prague Spring this year. If KS needs money, he can get in touch.
