Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek lacks the score of CONCERTINA FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA, whose material he wanted to commission. They are to write to Bohuslav Martinů that SNKLHU will probably not publish the piano excerpt of THE GAMES OF MARIA. If BM wants them to publish something, he must threaten to terminate their contract. This would also speed up the Boosey and Hawkes contract. [Jan] Hanuš, who is holding up the publishing, leaves on 1 January 1955, but Václav Mikota is still there. A new independent State Music Publishing House is to be established. The St. James composition [HYMNUS TO SAINT JAMES] will be given in the spring at St. James in Prague. They won't change the text after all.
