ContentBohuslav Martinů learned from Stanislav Novák that the addressee [?] would be on the committee deciding on the state prize for 1934. BM asks for support unless the addressee wants to vote for someone else. This is either a performance of THE SPALICE at the National Theatre in Prague and Brno, or a performance of QUARTET WITH ORCHESTRA with [Václav] Talich and the Czech Philharmonic. BM would be helped financially by the prize and thinks he deserves it.
