Content and physical description
ContentThis is a renewed contract for theatrical operation of the work concluded between Dilia and the National Theatre in Prague. The contract is for the opera GREEK PASSIONS, written by Bohuslav Martinů, who wrote the libretto based on the theme by Nikos Kazantzakis and translated by Eva Bezděková. The period is set from 1 January 1972 to 31 December 1973. The theatre will pay Dilia an honorarium of 10% of the total gross income for each performance. At the end of the agreement there is a special clause stating that the theatre has no right to negotiate with Czechoslovak Television for the television transmission of the work. In such a case, the consent of Dilio must be obtained in advance and the royalty terms negotiated.
