Content	Typescript of the statute B. Martinů entitled Notes on the cycle "Games about Mary", which appeared in the magazine Divadelní list [Brno], vol. X, No. 14, 2 February 1935, pp. 289-294 (or Národní divadlo, No. 8, r. 13, 1935). Martinů describes his attitude towards opera and its contemporary problems and describes how he conceived the opera PLAYS ABOUT MARY. For more details he refers to an article in Tempo magazine.
