ContentBohuslav Marinů writes a letter to Josef Hutter from the terrace of a hotel by the sea. He sends him the article and hopes he will like it. He asks JH to let him count what his contributions are worth and asks that they count his line for 50 K like last time. He will be travelling through Prague on 20 Jan, so he would collect the money. He also asks JH to announce that his comic opera about three acts [THE SOLDIER AND THE DANCER] has been accepted by the National Theatre in Brno for the next season, he will write some more articles about it for JH. He is also to announce that conductor Sergei Aleksandrovich Koussevitzky has accepted LA BAGARRE's Allegro for large orchestra for its first performance in America. Also his [SMITH QUARTET No. 2] will be performed at the Baden-Baden Festival (Festival Donaue - Schingen) on 15 Jan. Amar-Hindemith Quartet.
