Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes that he is working on [CONCERT FOR HOBO AND SMALL ORCHESTRA], later he will not have so much time, he will return to New York. He would be happy to have Jiří Tancibudek's [CONCERT FOR HOBO AND SMALL ORCHESTRA] for next season. On the financial side, BM's proposed solution is to give it to JT for $750 with $500 to pay this year and the remaining $250 next year. If JT was successful with it and made enough money, he would pay it off later. JT would have to acquire the orchestra material himself and BM would negotiate exclusive rights for JT for a period of time. Orchestra composition: 2 flutes, 2 clarinets, 1 bassoon, 2 horns, 1 trumpet, piano and strings. BM regrets not getting examples of passages from JT as they would have helped him. At the end of the letter, BM asks JT for a telegram if he accepts his suggestions.
