Content	The undersigned, in the service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [of the Czechoslovak Republic], have found that the activities of Bohuslav Martinů since 1939 confirm his state and national reliability. His compositions DVOJKONCERT, POLNÍ MŠE, PAMATNIK LIDICÍM, etc., responded to the Czechoslovak struggle and attracted attention in the USA, England, Switzerland and France. The undersigned recommends BM for a professorship of composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, in view of the extraordinary standing he has earned with conductors and critics in the USA.
