ContentKarel Boleslav Jirák thanks Bohuslav Martinů for his reply regarding the scholarship to the American Academy in Rome. [Jeroným] Zajíček will apply for the scholarship next year. KBJ read about BM moving to Basel to finish a new opera [Greek PASSION]. KBJ receives clippings from CSR about BM and it seems that BM is positively received in CSR and KBJ does not understand why BM wrote in his last letter that his visit there is impossible. KBJ wishes BM a speedy recovery from the flu, he himself has had two vaccinations against it.
