In addition, he asks ER to tell Ralph Hawkes apologies for not replying to his kind letter from New York - EA has the score of [Bohuslav] Martinů's SYMPHONY No. 3 and is looking forward to performing it as well as SYMPHONY No. 5. However, he has not yet planned a programme because of the delay caused by the illness he suffered on his return from London.
