ContentBedřich Macenauer thanks Charlotte Martinů for the materials she sent him for the "3 part songs" [THREE SONGS, perhaps meaning this composition?] by Bohuslav Martinů. BM would also like to receive the "NEW Czech songs" [MADRIGALS] with violin or clarinet and oboe accompaniment published by Boosey & Hawkes in 1951. Mr [Milos] Safranek explained that these songs were in a cycle of six songs and BM would like to receive them as he is mainly interested in songs with accompaniment [it is not clear what kind of song this is - the cycle of six songs may be CZECH RIDINGS but they are not with accompaniment]. BM asks how ChM can reciprocate. BM wants to perform the sacred songs [i.e. THREE SONGS SACRED?], those a capella songs [THREE SONGS?] and those new Czech songs [MADRIGALS] at one of his concerts.
