Dear Mr. Stein,

Thank you for your letter of 28th March. I am very disappointed with the news that the printed score of PERSEPHONE will not be issued in time for my concert on 26th May. Still, I go on hoping that by some good luck it might appear earlier.

Has Martinu’s SINFONIETTA GIOCOSA been played by Mme Germaine Leroux at the broadcast?

I hope you will send the photostat score of Martinu’s SINFONIA CONCERTANTE on to me as soon as it has arrived from America.

I am very curious indeed who H.v.L. is, please let me know when you have made our who hides behind those letters.

                                                                          Yours sincerely

Dr. Erwin Stein Esq.
