ContentDilia thanks Charlotte Martinů for her letter, which apparently crossed with theirs.
As they wrote in their telegram today, the premiere of WHAT PEOPLE LIVE at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen will take place on 9 May 1964. The ballet ISTAR, which is also performed in Liberec, will be first performed at the Smetana Theatre in Prague on 29 May 1964.
They are waiting for a statement from the accounting office regarding the sums sent to Charlotte in France. According to the accounting office, the sums were sent to the ChM account in Compiègne (last time in March). Dilia will clarify this next time.
Jaromír Špaček told the writer that he had written two letters to Charlotte. He is now waiting to hear how ChM will decide on the accommodation offered. ChM is to tell him quickly, it is difficult to find a spare room in Prague in spring.
