Content and physical description
ContentEdward O. Tabor is thrilled with the successful performance of CONCERTO GROSSO. Critics' comments are very positive, and he includes one article with his writing along with the program [not extant]. If the other reviews do not reach Bohuslav Martinů, he sends them to him. ET is pleased that Frederick Reiner included the second movement of the piece in the programme in memory of Lidice; he was touched by it in view of his own Czech origins. He concludes his letter by expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration between the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the BM, organized by Miroslav Šafránek.
