Content and physical description
ContentThe writer thanks Vojtěch Strnad for his letter of 21 September 1956. He believes that VS has since received his letter of 19 September 1956.
The writer will send him the score of MIRANDOLINA in a few days. Boosey & Hawkes do not have orchestral material or piano lifts at the moment. However, if Dilia is interested, B&H can give her the rights to the opera for Czechoslovakia so that she can produce the material herself.
B&H sent Dilia the piano lifts for GENTLEMEN and THE BRIDGE OF THE BRIDGE.
Regarding Richard Strauss's Josephslegende, B&H suggest that Dilia set the rental fee according to the usual practice in Czechoslovakia and that a royalty of 5% of gross receipts be paid to Dilia.
