Content and physical description
ContentRecord [of Dilie's meeting with Charlotte Martinů].
Dilia informed the Paris office of Boosey & Hawkes to halt negotiations on the use of Bronislaw Horowitz's translation of JULIET until ChM's visit on 20 June 1967.
ChM and Dilia agreed to use the French translation by Bohuslav Martinů. ChM has it available in the piano lift. It is completed to 30 pages, the translation of which will be entrusted to Eleuthère Lovreglio and Anna Marie Wurm. The translation will probably be completed by 31 December 1967.
Dilia will pay the translators a lump sum of non-transferable CZK on the occasion of their stay in Czechoslovakia.
The royalties from the operation of the work - 1% of Dilie's share - will be paid to the translators into a French account. ChM will receive 6% of Dilia's share.
ChM will discuss these terms with B&H in Paris and with the translators. He will arrange for the translators to add the vocal text to the two piano lifts (for ChM and for Dilia).
