Děkuji Vám srdečně za Váš milý dopis a odpusťte že odpovídám tak pozdě. Vrátil jsem se teprve teď do Francie kde konečně mám chvíli času k odpovídání. Jsem rád že se Vám můj kvartett líbí a myslím že rukopis musí býti v Praze, protože tam byl vydán. Co se týče 5. kvartettu myslím že rukopis byl ztracen v letech 1940-41. Ale na žádost Šafranka, který je ted´ zde, podívám se do moji bedny na venkově kde moje věci byly uloženy. Dostanete zprávy od Šafránka. Dvojhouslový koncert bohužel není ještěí vydán a není volný, tedy pro pozdější dobu. Myslím že Artia je teď ve spojení s Boosey + Hawkes, mým nakladatelem v Londýně, mohl byste tedy dostat Three Madrigals, pro housle a violu, myslím že by Vás to zajímalo. Dozvíte se od Šafránka novinky.
