ContentThe theatre department of Dilia replies to Charlotta Martinů's letter of 22 September 1970. ChM enclosed her contract with Walter Schmolka of 5 May 1961 concerning his English translation of JULIETTA. Dilia told Schmolka that she accepted this contract on the condition that his right to the English translation would not be exclusive. They also asked him to send a piano extract with the English text inscribed and one or two typescript translations so that Dilia's music department could begin its work. This will take at least nine months.
