Content and physical description
ContentPavel Deutsch writes to Vítězslava Kapralová with several questions about the promotion of Czechoslovak music abroad and gives her advice on the subject. PD asks about contacts with musicians from other countries. PD asks what contacts [Bohuslav] Martinů and [Rudolf] Firkušný have with the French musical world. PD writes that Czech Romantic music ([Josef] Suk, [Antonín] Dvořák, [Leoš] Janáček) is quite well known. Bohuslav] Martinů is closer to classical music ([J. S.] Bach, [W. A.] Mozart). PD asks how [Bohuslav] Martinů's CONCERTO FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA [No. 1 or No. 2] is scored. PD writes about the relationship of Bach, Haydn and Beethoven to Romanticism. PD hopes for a personal meeting with VK.
