ContentCharlotta Martinů received a letter from Zdeněk Pechold dated 21 January 1964. She is glad that "Studánek" [performance of "Woven from the Springs": OPENING OF STUDANEK, SPALÍČEK, see DLA 1963-00-00c] will be performed again on 2 March.
Learned from friends in Prague that Bohuslav Martinů's letters will be published in Prague. This would not happen without her consent; she and ZP had already discussed it in June before ChM left [Prague]. ChM is going to Mannheim on 18 February 1964 for [the premiere of] the performance of TWICE ALEXANDER. Perhaps from there he will go to Prague and they can discuss the matter. She would soon confirm her visit to Prague. She would be there around the 20th of February, ZP is not supposed to tell anyone about it. [handwritten note: "announced"]
