ContentThe writer informs Charlotte Martinů that her letter has arrived from Prague. A copy of the manuscript of CZECH MADRIGALS was sent to Jiří Macek at the Artia publishing house in Prague. It would be excellent if records of CZECH MADRIGALS were made as planned.
The publishing house has procured a German vocal translation of the original Czech lyrics. They are currently typing the lyrics in both languages into additional copies of the manuscripts so that they can be printed. It is a demanding job, requiring the utmost care. Once they are finished, ChM will receive a copy and will be able to comment on the translation.
