Content and physical description
ContentThe sender writes to Charlotte Martinů in the absence of Heinz Schneider-Schott, who is currently in Japan. He acknowledges receipt of the letter of 5 September 1962. The publishers do not yet know whether the ChM lawyer from Zurich has contacted HSS, but will ask HSS. Of course they will not publish anything until a final decision has been made.
The writer suggests to Charlotte to send the pieces she wrote to the publishing house to them. He also sends her five ARABES.
The publishing house promises Charlotte support in the matter of the young Czech cellist Josef Chuchra. However, they cannot sell Chuchra the sheet music for the VIOLONCELLO CONCERT No. 1 because of the difficulties they have with the Eastern Bloc countries. They could provide him with a free piano recital. They will write to him directly on this matter.
