Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů is sad that she will not see Mr and Mrs Prins this year. Their letter from Benidorm never reached her.
By chance she has re-established contact with John Riley, who sang in ISAIAH'S PRIORITY [at the Die Haghe Sanghers concert on 17 January 1961] and is now in Paris. ChM has learned from him that the performance was very successful, and she is all the more sorry for her absence. She still hopes to hear the performance on the radio.
ISAIAH'S PROPHECY is published in Israel. ChM gives the address of an Israeli publisher for any interested parties to contact.
He hopes to meet with the addressees in January. She herself may be in Nice, all depending on the performances of the GREEK PASSIONS. This opera was a great success in Zurich [the premiere took place on 9 June 1961]. It is being performed again in the 1961/1962 season and will be performed about ten times. ChM does not yet know of any other performances in other countries. She has been trying to get information about the opera; she appreciates the libretto and the music and would like the Prinses to see it.
ChM clarifies to the Prinses how to write its address and where the Vieux Moulin is located.
