Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů writes to Alfred Kalmus of the London branch of Universal Edition. She hoped to see him at the second premiere of GREEK PASSIONS in Zurich on 1 October 1961. She wanted to discuss with him the contract for THREE CZECH DANCES for two pianos, concluded between Universal Edition and Bohuslav Martinů in Rome in 1957. She asks Kalmus to say whether they plan to publish the work so that she can inform other interested publishers. She therefore writes to him with her address.
GREEK PASSIONS was as successful as at its premiere in June [9 June 1961]. ChM regrets that AK and his wife did not see the performance.
ChM has no news from Alfred Schlee about other performances in other countries. He leaves greetings for the addressee's wife and briefly asks about royalties for the Zurich performance.
