Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů specifies that the Chamber Music Guild Quartet would play the Clavier Quartet without any remuneration. However, only a part of the piece could be performed at the concert, as the whole piece is considerably longer than 10 minutes. The Guild Quartet has promised to premiere this work, so he thinks it best to write another work for flute, violin and piano [MADRIGAL SONATA] for the League of Composers concert. He can only start composing after the holidays, and is now working on SYMPHONY No. 1 for Koussevitzky. He could possibly find a violinist himself among his acquaintances. He asks C.Reis to let him know which option suits her best.
