Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šolc sent the manuscript of Bohuslav Martinů's SONATAS in C major to Hudební rozhled on 27 December 1966. Now the work is about to be published and KS has to revise the score for the engraver and therefore requests the return of the manuscript. KS's article searching for unknown BM compositions was not published in HR, which surprised KS (Dvořák's Symphony No. 1 was thought to have been destroyed for 60 years and then was discovered). The information is also important for putting the composition in context - KS has similar experience of editing works by [Bedřich] Smetana, [Antonín] Dvořák and [Zdeněk] Fibich.
[the other half of the paper bears notes in a different ink:] On 24 April 1967 KS urged HR that he had not yet received either a reply or a returned manuscript, not to mention the ignoring of his article.
