Content and physical description
ContentZdeněk Zouhar returns to Karel Šolc's letter of 22 January and asks whether he copied the beginning of Bohuslav Martinů's PRELUDIO ES MOLL [H 86bis], which KŠ wrote, from sheet music or whether he recorded it from memory. KS writes that BM did not credit the 5th movement of DANCE CRT until it was printed in 1933, a year after he had completed the composition of the other movements. ZZ, however, is under the impression that Part 4, Tempo di Valse, is rather foreign to the cycle, and asks whether it is possible that BM composed this part later and did not then insert it before No. 5. ZZ personally asks about KS's recordings [on Czechoslovak Radio]. ZZ wants to meet KS in person on his next visit to Prague.
