Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů is delighted with the news that the Paris premiere of his SQUASH SEXTET will be performed. He apologises for the delay in replying to telegrams, but he is now in Czechoslovakia, not Paris. According to BM, SEXTET is the property of Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge, so she can have it performed forever without special permission. He did not understand from the telegram whether ESC was perhaps asking about the price. For BM, ESC's interest is sufficient appreciation. He has not yet exhausted the resources he received by winning the Coolidge Prize. There was a premiere of THE PLAY OF MARY in Brno and it was well received. BM returns to Paris at the beginning of April. BM gives his new address.
