Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks for the information about the competition in Washington and announces that he will participate with his SEXTET. He asks if he can dedicate this piece, which he considers one of his best, to Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge. BM also asks about his SMITH QUINTET, which was played at the ESC Festival, what the rights to use it are, and if he can look for a publisher in Europe or if there would be a possibility of finding one in the United States. BM also asks if the ESC could include his SMITH QUARTET No. 2 in the program of one of its next festivals.
