ContentBohuslav Martinů received invitations and the festival programme from Elisabeth Sprague Coolidge. BM expresses his delight that his SMITH QUINTET is also on the programme and regrets that conditions do not allow him to attend in person. He expresses his satisfaction with the choice of performers - the Roth Quartet. He requests that the ESC send him a mention of his composition in the press after the concert. BM invites the ESC to the premiere of his SYMPHONY [RHAPSODIE] in Boston in November, conducted by Sergei Koussevitzky.
