Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů gladly accepts Otakar Hollmann's suggestion and will devote himself to his composition as soon as possible [DIVERTIMENTO for piano left hand and orchestra]. He is now busy finishing the ballet and performing it at the local theatre [MOTHER, WHICH DUPAL?], but will start composing for the OH in March at the latest. BM asks if the OH has a chamber orchestra with 2 flutes, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, 2 violins, 2 violas, cello, basses - such an orchestra is what BM would like to see if it would not be an obstacle to touring. What time range should the piece be in? Early May perhaps he will send the score and in June when BM is in Prague they could meet over changes and corrections.
