Content and physical description
ContentIt follows from Martinů’s letter of 24/6 that he sent the score of the opera to Camill Hoffman in Berlin. During his stay in Berlin, Emil Hertzka will try to meet Camill Hoffman in order to be able to go over the piano reduction. He will also discuss Martinů's JAZZ SUITE with Heinrich Burkhard in Baden-Baden. As regards piano reductions, they pay 3 – 4 shillings per one page of music. They have very good arrangers who could be of assistance to him in summer. They expect the photographic copy of his SEXTET and they will provide him with some more information later on.
