ContentThey sent the autograph of the PARABLES from the publishing house on 5 November [1958] to Paul Sacher’s address, together with a letter. The publisher had borrowed a copy [of the BRIGAND SONGS] from Jos Vranken and had to return it. They at Schott regret that Bohuslav Martinů has other plans with the work, although in the summer they promised him they would accept the work. They tried to visit BM in Wiesbaden after the performance of the opera [JULIETTE], but BM was away. On 29 January, they sent him a letter, yet it was returned undelivered, hence they enclose it in this letter. Schott is interested in other his works.
