Content and physical description
ContentAlfred Schlee thanks you for your letter of 16 April [1956]. Not only have they already received the FRESKY PIERA DELLA FRANCESCA, but in addition they have already had a large part of it transcribed onto banners. They will make the wraps as soon as possible. They would like Bohuslav Martinů to see the obituaries, but they don't want to waste time sending the score back and forth. Therefore, they will deliver the finished and corrected score to Rafael Kubelík and also to BM, who will look it over and, if they find errors, make a second, finally corrected score, which they will also send to RK. They will get the material immediately after the score. They have already contacted Salzburger Festspiele.
RK's accident was probably more serious than it seemed. He has postponed his concert which was due next week.
Alfred Schlee is anxiously awaiting the EPOS ON GILGAMES.
Attached are the contracts for FRESKY, BM is to return them signed.
