ContentBohuslav Martinů wishes you all the best for the New Year. He will be in Europe in May and hopes to meet Alfred Schlee and Alfred Kalmus. On the question of his citizenship - he is an American. He really likes the score and the piano part of CONCERA DA CAMERA. Will there be any performances? AS has some other scores by BM: CONCERTO FOR TWO PIANOES AND ORCH. and a small one, which one? [Quartet for oboe, oboe, violoncello and piano] He is to keep them to himself for the time being.
Would he be interested in publishing his next work? BM won't be renewing his contract with Boosey & Hawkes, so he's free and might have an orchestral score for Universal Edition, Vienna [FRESKY PIERA DELLA FRANCESCA].
