Content and physical description
ContentAlfred Schlee has not yet sent the contract [concerning the rights of Kazantzakis to the Greek pastiche] to Max Tau Bohuslav Martinů because MT has not replied to his last letter.
Regarding the CONCERT FOR CEMBLAO AND SMALL ORCHESTRA, AS agrees with BM about the work of the arranger. BM is right that there may be no need for a piano score; no one would perform this work except with an orchestra.
So they will create a solo harpsichord part with small notes for orientation in the tutti, as BM wishes, and send it to BM for review before printing.
PS: The libretto of GREEK PASSIONS has been sent to the London office of Universal Edition, where it will be available to Rafael Kubelík.
