ContentThank you for your letter of 29.1. It goes without saying that Paul Sacher will premiere the EPOS OF GILGAMES and the Universal Edition, Vienna has already sent him the first part of the piano part. Although it will not be possible to supply PS with all the material in the time he has requested, UE is trying very hard to provide him with the other parts as soon as possible.
Naturally UE would like to make new banners of the score, but this is not possible in the near future, so he must ask PS to make a premiere from the score he now has with him. UE assumes that Bohuslav Martinů also sent Sacher a copy of his manuscript.
The UE would like BM to send them the manuscript by post so that a second copy can be made and more people can work on the materials at the same time.
Regarding the CONCERTO FOR CEMBALA AND SMALL ORCHESTRA, they have an interested party for an exclusive for a certain period of time, so it is important to have the matter of printing this work resolved as soon as possible.
