ContentBM congratulates SK for the recognition of his artistic endeavours that he read about in the newspaper. Reminds that SK promised him $50 for La Bagarre. He was supposed to send it on November 16, but BM has not yet received it. Asks SK's opinion of the Quintet, assumes SK heard him in Boston. He would like critiques on the Symphony [Rhapsody].

BM congratulates SK the recognition of his artistic efforts in Boston, which he read about in the newspaper Comedia. He reminds SK that SK had promised him $50 for the composer's rights to La Bagarre. SK had promised to send his money on November 16, but BM has not received it. BM asks for Koussevitzky's opinion of Martinů's Quintet, assuming that SK has heard it in Boston. He would also like the reviews fo Symphonie [La Rhapsodie].
