Content and physical description
ContentBM thanks for the message and sends his Christmas greetings. He received a letter from Lindbergh. He has started work on the symphony [Rhapsody for Orchestra] and hopes to finish it by May; he would like to dedicate it to Koussevitzky as a token of his gratitude for encouraging him to continue. BM would like to stay in Paris as long as possible. He would like information about release possibilities and the address of Columbia Records, but does not want to take advantage of Kusevitzky's kindness. The sheet music for La Bagarre will always be available to Koussevitzky; BM hopes to do this again.

BM thanks SK for the telegram and review, and sends him greetings of the season. BM also received a letter from Lindbergh [to whom La Bagarre was dedicated]. BM has begun to work on a symphony [i. e. La Rhapsodie] and hopes to finish it by May; he would like to dedicate it to SK as an expression of gratitude. SK has given him the encouragement to continue; he wants to remain as long as possible in Paris, and life is sometimes very difficult. BM would like information about possibilities of publishing and also the address of Columbia Records, but does not want to impose after all of Koussevitzky's disposal; BM hopes that he will perform it again.
