ContentBM sends a statement thanking Jan Kunc for his interest and suggestion to elect BM. He sent a request for support to the Academy back in February. He also sent a request to Brno for support. According to the advice of JK, he sent a letter to [Ludvík] Kundera and [Jaroslav] Kvapil. Kundera wrote back that he was not a member of the Jury. BM therefore again asked Kundera for intercession. This year has been very bad indeed. BM announces that he has married. He had a new success on the Champs Elysées with his Serenade. He couldn't ask for prizes. He has new compositions but needs manuscripts (?), so he asked for endorsements.
