Content and physical description
ContentDavid Adams has received a letter from Boosey & Hawkes, Londn – the print folios of Bohuslav Martinů’s SYMPHONIES NOS. 2 and 3 should be sent there for prompt copying. Yet in NY they have found out that these print folios were sent in a parcel with personal effects to BM on 29 April. BM is asked to kindly send these materials to B&H, London by air mail. At the same time, BM should send (by surface mail) the print folios of the parts of SYMPHONY NO. 4, which may be required for reproduction in the future. According to DA, B&H and BM have concluded an agreement on SYMPHONY NO. 4, which stipulates that these parts are the property of B&H. By the way, the score has been printed and is available for sale. BM should kindly reply to this letter, stating whether the print folios of SYMPHONIES NOS. 2 and 3 have been sent to London.
