ContentHe has been away from Paris for a few days, apologizes for not having sought him out before his departure from Prague; thanks him for his work on the Palladium and asks him to keep the piano lift with him; wants to go to Prague before the holidays, would like to publish the piano lift in print; wants to ask ND to lend him the piano lift. He asks for a piano lift for the 'Plays about Maria' and writes to him to ask if the ND will make it available to him; the performance in Prague was quite good, but BM imagined it expressed differently; he evaluates or criticises the ND apparatus and especially its 'employee' approach to the work; he writes that 'there are still many Lohengrin and Tannhäuser in that theatre', otherwise he is quite satisfied, but would like to see 'Maria' in the ND one day as it should really be.
