Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů greets František Muzika and his wife and asks if FM has met [Jindřich] Honzl. BM sends "three finished things" [from PLAYS ABOUT MARIA] to Brno and works on Sister Pascalina. He wrote to ND in Prague about the layout for the next season. He describes the plot of Pascalina and his ideas about the scene and the course of the action. His conception is very far from [Julius] Zeyer's text, and he will tell Muzik the solution of form and scene. [Arturo] Toscanini played there, and next week there will be the Russian Ballet... [Jan] Zrzavý has arrived and lives next door to the Martins. they have many flowers in the garden, and the children take turns shouting opposite. Standa [Novák?] and [Václav] Talich haven't written to him, so he prefers to think of Brno.
