ContentHe received a letter from Frank, who was in Bohemia (Luhačovice,...), Frank telephoned him from Vienna; they are preparing to move (26.9.) to Switzerland (Pratteln); there is still little news from home - his sister is in Smiřice; he hopes that from Switzerland he might be able to get to Bohemia more easily; in Zurich he is going to work on an opera and a new piano concerto; Ch. has received permission to go to the USA for a few days, they will both go there at the beginning of October; he briefly reviews his stay in Rome; in Basel he wants to cure his hand.
