ContentAsks FJ to ask Chaucer for two books by Fromm; sends a picture of the President; Frank has written to him; Frank wants to write to the conductor at La Scala in Milan to urge the performance of BM's operas; mentions the quartet in connection with Rybka; no news from Prague; Šebánek did not write back-he was in London, where he probably visited Kubelík; the recording of Studanek for FJ has probably been lost, probably the same with Studanek for Lövenbach, Frank got them; he urges FJ to take care of her passport, she and Ch. worries; friends from Bohemia would like to visit him, he will only accept "his poet"; in May the Legend will be [performed] [probably in Prague]; tomorrow [i.e. 9.4.] there will be a concert in Rome, at which one BM composition will be performed; the former editor of BM will come from London.
