ContentBohuslav Martinů was visited the previous day by Alfred Kalmus from Universal Edition. He assured him that if the EPOS ABOUT GILGAMES was performed the following spring, they would be able to produce the material at UE. BM would have to rewrite the score on smaller format paper. The UE also accepted FRESKY PIERA DELLA FRANCESCA.
BM asked Paul Sacher to send the score of EPOS ON GILGAMES to Vienna, but he can also send another copy himself. Sacher's copy with translation will be needed to make the choral parts.
What does the PS think about this? Will he be able to perform EPOS OF GILGAMES in the 1956/1957 season?
