ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Paul Sacher for his letter. He will send him a copy [of the score of EPOS ON GILGAMES] as soon as possible. He is rather glad that the work will not be performed until the 1956/1957 season. He will try to get to Europe the following year. If he succeeded, he could listen to the piece.
He would also like to meet with PS over the score. He [with ChM] would be happy to come in September, BM thanks for the invitation. Would the second half of September suit Sacher? BM and ChM would stay in Switzerland until the performance of the cantata [MOUNTAIN OF THREE LIGHTS] in Bern [3 Oct].
BM would prefer to have the text of [EPOS OF GILGAMES] translated into German.
